WHO ARE WE? Wishes Can Happen, Inc. is a nonprofit organization, chartered in the State of Ohio since 1982. Our office is located in North Canton, Ohio. We are an all volunteer group, simply organized under the guidance of a Board of Directors.

HISTORY: Wishes Can Happen, Inc. was co-founded in 1982 by Canton residents, Cyndi Morrow and Linda Lippert. We have granted over 500 wishes since then!

WHAT DO WE DO? We grant wishes to children with life threatening illnesses in Ohio. Our objective is to put a smile on the face of our wish children, and create a happy memory for their family. HOW ARE WE FINANCED? Wishes Can Happen is entirely donor supported, and we rely solely on the compassion and generosity of private donors and corporate sponsors to fund our efforts. The average wish cost is $4,710. We are registered as a Not for Profit 501c3 organization, and your donations are 100% tax deductible. WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR A WISH? There are no income limits on the family of the child receiving the wish. Any child between the ages of 3 through 21 who has been determined by a physician to have a life threatening illness is eligible for a wish. The child must not have received a wish from any other wish granting organization.

HOW DO WE FIND OUT ABOUT KIDS? Many of the referrals we receive come from families who have been involved with our program over the years, or fund raising events for children we might notice in the paper. WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT? Wishes Can Happen, Inc. is an all volunteer organization. Our Board of Directors all donate their time to fulfill wishes for our children. If you donate a dollar to us, you can be sure that the majority of that dollar is going toward granting a child's wish, not toward administrative costs!
