Maryna was diagnosed with a brain tumor right before her 14th birthday. Her battle has been long, but she has faced it with the same resolve that earned her a prestigious membership into the National Honor Society and the distinction of graduating summa cum laude. She is attending Jacksonville University to become a marine biologist. She chose a cruise for her wish, complete with underwater excursions. Maryna and family were on one of the first cruises reopening after COVID. Even with increased restrictions, Maryna said it was the trip of a lifetime!
